Breath within BreathBreath Within BreathMichael Shaw, Craig Gibsone and Gill Emslie December 14-17, 2007 Breathwork combines ancient spiritual traditions and modern consciousness research. This simple technique affords a powerful opportunity for unproductive patterns, and emotions frozen in past trauma, to surface in non-ordinary states. Dreams that haunt and oppress our lives become focused and available for integration. Ideally suited to those seeking greater awareness in psychological, mystical and spiritual realms, Breathwork uses a combination of intense breathing, evocative music, work with the body, expressive drawing and group sharing to help people 'move towards wholeness' . The week will also include a Sweat Lodge, Primal Painting and earth-based processes. Michael Shaw has been involved in the healing profession since 1974.
He is currently Executive Director of Ocean Arts International, an
environmental non-profit organization applying ecological desining to
water and agricultural issues. Michael is a certified breathwork facilitator. Gill Emslie is currently involved in developing consultancy work for
both the corporate world in Europe and the NGOs in Latin America. Gill
