“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to stay at Newbold House, this has meant a lot to me. Experiencing the House, the people and the nature around helped me to get through personal things inside and prepare me for the next steps in Berlin (however it looks like!) I enjoyed the kindness and openness of people here.“ - Thanks a lot Agnieszka, Sweden ( May 2007)

Findhorn Connections

Because our origins are so closely tied to the growth of the Findhorn Foundation, we maintain close links with the Foundation, Cluny Hill College, The Park, the New Findhorn Association (NFA) and the wider community that has evolved around these organisations and sites.

History of Newbold House

houseNewbold’s history dates back to 1893 when the house was designed and built (over several years) for the Woodcock family. Colonel Woodcock was a retired Officer who had served in India and subsequently made his fortune trading tea.

Who we are

Newbold House is a community of people from different walks of life who share a common vision for Newbold’s aims, values and services. This includes providing a loving and nurturing environment for our guests who come here on workshops; retreats; as working guests or simply to enjoy the hospitality that we offer.
