We will take time to become aware of how we move, familiarise ourselves with and enjoy the structure of our own body. We will see how it is to move with different kinds of awareness, attention and focus. A great way to relax and revitalise yourself during the cold months. Biography
Saille has a soft spot for sheepskin rugs, cashmere cardigans and cats. Anything soft and purr worthy in fact! She loves dancing and has been on her own journey of self discovery and sensory awakening through various dance forms and body based investigative practices over the last 10 years which led her totake the Movement-based Expressive Arts and TherapyTeacher Training program at the Tamalpa Institute in the USA. Now a board member for the Institute, she runs her own Expressive Arts workshops and has an individual practice in and around the Findhorn Community in Scotland.
In her workshops she invites youto be curious, to listen to your thoughts, emotions and body sensations and to see what emerges when you begin to express these in movement, drawing and writing. To get to know our responses in this way can be liberating as it can open doors to new metaphors for how we might live our lives as individuals in relationship to ourselves, others and our environment. Saillesgrowing edge in recent years has been learning how to move with change, to be present with all the emotions that arise at such times and to embrace these with compassion and understanding. As a facilitator she brings to her workshops a quality of depth, sensitivity and humour which invites participants to explore in a safe space whatever is calling for expression in their lives.
