Newbold House is a centre that provides experiences to allow transformation and healing to take place.
Newbold House is a beautiful Victorian mansion set in an oasis of nature in the north east of Scotland. Our staff group are made up of people from different walks of life who share a common vision. We take pleasure in providing a loving and nurturing environment for our guests. We live by the core principals of the Findhorn Foundation.
Garden Education Open Days
Our beautiful gardens have been educating people for over twenty years, formally and informally. This summer (2009) we will be running various events for educating children and adults in our garden.
During the summer holidays we will be offering mornings and afternoons where parents can bring their children for a real green fingered hands on expereience. The parents can enjoy a relaxing few hours and the kids themselves will be taught various gardening and growing techniques. We always have such fun and learn so much during these events.
Various other education slots will be taking place in the garden, Christopher Raymont, our head gardner will be facilitating these with some of our local volunteers.

When the time comes for a change to take place in the world, we have to start with ourselves. Individual consciousness and global consciousness are expanding; traditions and institutions are being challenged, yet we are often left wondering what will replace them. Feeling lost or confused are common responses to times of transition; we may feel that our old belief systems and inherited values are no longer serving us, and new ones have yet to develop. There has never been a greater need to transform our lives creatively, yet we face many challenges along the way.
